Taught classical indian music by his father, Ustad Siraj Khan, and great grand-father, Ustad Ghulam Qadir Khan, Asad Khan now takes on any form of music. Whether exploring classical raga to new musical forms of his generation, he experiments it in many formations.
Appointed musician of A.R. Rahman, he is also the famous sitar solo player of the soundtrack of « Slumdog Milionaire ».
He played and collaborated with the greatest composers of India and many international artists (Herbie Hancock, Jamiroquai) and with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Asad Khan has traveled all over the world with his sitar.
He plays with Olli & the Bollywood Orchestra in the 3rd epic of this project, Olli goes to Bollywood.
